The Mad Hatters Tea Party, organised by Furthest from the Sea, will feature a wide variety of Alice in Wonderland themed live music, crafts, theatre, dance and comedy acts. Suitable for all the family, this free festival will provide numerous opportunities and workshops for all to get involved. The event, which also marks the opening of Thyme Restaurant at Riverlights, takes place on Saturday 18th June from 11am until 4pm.
Matt McGuiness at Furthest from the Sea said: “It’s fantastic to be able to include Derby Riverlights in St Peters Quarter to this year’s festival. It adds a unique performance space for some wonderful Derbyshire family entertainment in this truly city wide event.”
On behalf of Riverlights, Mark Holmes, of Moorfield Group said: “We are thrilled to be able to host this community led festival and look forward to welcoming all to enjoy Riverlights’ unique waterside setting.”
Moorfield Group acquired Derby Riverlights on behalf of Moorfield Real Estate Fund III (MREFIII) in May 2015 and intend to create a vibrant leisure destination in the heart of Derby city centre.
