Bustler Market announce the home of street food in Derby for summer 2017

The team behind Bustler Market are excited to announce that Riverlights will host the monthly event for summer 2017. Two units at the scheme adjacent to the River Gardens, will be used, bringing vibrancy back to the banks of the River Derwent.

Currently undergoing transformation, the double-height space will showcase the best of the region’s independent street food traders in an exciting and previously unseen venue.

“We are thrilled to be working with Riverlights this summer as we believe this is an exciting opportunity to showcase a beautiful and currently under-used part of the city.” said Liv, Owner of Hide Burger Bar and Director of Bustler Market. “The space is really impressive and quite unexpected when looking at it from outside, people will be amazed when they come through the doors. It works perfectly in catering for all our ideas of what a fantastic street food market should be, and we know what we have in store will not disappoint.”

There will be 8 different food traders, a specialist cocktail trader, and a huge bar which will be stocked exclusively by Thornbridge and Darley Abbey Cider alongside wine, spirits and soft drinks. Entertainment will be available with beer pong tournaments and table football available, whilst music will be provided by outstanding local DJs. A special competition is currently running on the social media pages for Bustler Market, offering one attendee the chance to win a £50 bar tab. Please see social media for details.
The traders currently on the bill are Holy Cow by Hide, Richi Blues, Deckards, Wonky Table, Italian Stallion, Dukkah, Frank Corn Dogs, Roberts Bros Noted Ices and Trailer Made Cocktails.
