Injoy, Derby’s indoor play park reopens as restrictions ease

Injoy, Derby’s indoor play centre at Riverlights is excited to welcome back customers this week as the country moves into step 3 of the roadmap out of lockdown.

Richard Chandler, Manager at Injoy at said: “It feels amazing to be open again and many sessions are fully booked for the week ahead.”

Reducing capacity by 50% is just one of the safety measures that’s been introduced. Tables in the café are socially distanced and there’s an enhanced cleaning schedule in place across the centre. There’s also perspex screens, temperature checks at the door and multiple hand sanitising stations – all measures they hope will give customers the reassurance they need.

Richard adds: “We have a reputation for being a very clean play centre so we hope our customers will have confidence in returning to us. It’s encouraging to see so many pre-bookings and demonstrates play dates have been sorely missed – by parents as much as their children.  Visiting Injoy and other soft play centres is a great way of meeting other parents and gain support while providing a safe, fun and stimulating environment for children to explore. It’s beneficial to a child’s physical, social and emotional development as well as parent’s mental health. We’re excited to be back and look forward to seeing customers, regulars and new families.”
